Today, we are sharing details on the soon to launch Relay One — a simple button for online e-commerce, platforms, and independent sites. Relay One will enable merchants to accept payments from payment forms around the world.
One is the latest product in the Relay family, empowering online merchants to accept money from any local payment form that has been integrated in the underlying Relay blockchain settlement network.
Our long term vision is to empower everyone in the world to participate in the real-time global economy and a large step towards that is providing a method for merchants to open their stores to the world and for content creators to build a direct relationship with their audience. All funds received via Relay One will settle to the RelayX wallet, giving merchants full custody and control over the funds.
The One button can easily be plugged into any website and appears just like any other payment method. From a beta starting point, we will continuously work towards providing a more and more fluid experience. At launch, Relay will support payment forms including Bitcoin SV, WeChat Pay, and Alipay. We will shortly be opening private-testing for interested merchants. The button and accompanying few lines of code needed to integrate to accept Relay payments will be introduced in the RelayX app in an upcoming version along with API support.
